What is Rezduro? -- "The first Indigenous-led mountain bike enduro race." Hosted August 23-24, 2024 by the Chiricahua Apache Clan on their land in the Navajo Nation near Hardrock, AZ. Even more so than usual, this race brought the heart, love, and family to enduro. Tiny tots raced loops around basecamp. Gnarly groms tested their limits through rain and shine. Incredible food and hospitality came out of the volunteer kitchen and into our bodies. Culture and creativity were highlighted at the storytelling workshop. Tradition and community were honored by the fire. Ohhhh, and there was some rowdy mountain bike racing!
So many people came together to make all of the magic happen. I am full of endless gratitude. It is a great honor and blessing to participate in Rezduro and experience this wonderful community!
Hosted in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the Northwoods Enduro was featured as the third race of the 2024 Southern Enduro Tour. Pre-race rain brought excitingly sketchy trail conditions to the course, challenging racers to manage their speed and stay on their bikes. Gnarly technical sections brought thrills and chills to the bravest riders and a chance for everyone else to practice their humility. Always stoked to see more women and groms on the podium! -- Hope to see you all out at O'Rock Enduro on April 13 & 14!
The second race of the 2024 Southern Enduro Tour brought racers to The Great Passion Play, in Eureka Springs, AR. Perfect weather and top-notch trail conditions made for a beautiful day to race this gnarly course that featured fast and loose flow, rowdy tech, and signature scratch lines. First-time racers came out to ride the same trails as the pros, and men, women, and juniors all made their way to the podium.
A break in the weather brought riders out to the Railyard to practice their jumps, whips, and tricks on Sunday, Jan 28, 2024 with Gravity NWA. Joseph The airbag was up and folks were stoked to get outside, soak up some sunshine, and ride bikes! The progression was real. If you'd like to improve your mountain bike jumping or dirt jumping skills, Joseph and James at Gravity are your guys!
Racers started the 2024 Season of Southern Enduro Tour with Return of the Zombie Goat, a two day race at Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort, TX. Riders powered through ten stages of rowdy, rocky (not flat), hill country MTB trails. The toughest riders in the South endured the cold January weather and locked in their points for Race 1. They'll be battling it out at the next race, Redemption Enduro, on March 3, 2024.
For the second to final week of the Summer Jam Series, Bombsquad Senders Union, Loam Lander, and Buddy Pegs set us up for some big air. Two sizes of Loam Lander airbags from Backyard Shredder and Buddy Pegs, plus all the mulch jumps gave riders an opportunity to show their best tricks -- and learn new ones! Great music, pizza, and big family fun!
Presented by Bombsquad Senders Union, this weekly shindig is a favorite summer event full of friendly competition. Fun for all ages, the Summer Jam Series brings the community out to test their skills at The Railyard Bike Park and Scotty2Wheels brings the beats. This album features primarily the skinny over the pool competition, the slow race, the Buddy Pegs bubbles and noodles race, and general family fun vibes.
Hosted by Southern Colorado Trail Builders, this Women’s Mountain Bike Clinic was an epic event for the MTB community in Southern Colorado. Ladies eager to improve their mountain biking skills were coached by female mountain bike instructors from Grit Clinics, and led by Lindsey Richter!
